Frequently asked questions
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis. Unlike THC, CBD has no psychoactive effects.
CBD has no psychotropic effects as it has been produced from the hemp plant with a tiny amount of THC (below 0.2%). So you don’t get “high” and you don’t have any kind of intoxicating effect.
We use supercritical CO2 extraction.
Hemp oil is made from seeds, and CBD oil from the stems and flowers of the plant.
Hemp oil doesn’t contain CBD and therefore doesn’t have the most profitable benefits of the CBD..
CBD, in order for it to have that consistency and be applied to the skin and preserved, needs to be combined with an oil. Although normally combined with olive oil, hemp oil could also be an option.
For diseases such as dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, stress, anxiety or depression, among others. And it has very beneficial effects, since it works as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anxiolytic and antioxidant mainly.
Due to its properties, its use in cosmetics has spread and popularized a lot in recent years. Its antioxidant properties help to slow the aging of the skin, being used in diseases such as those mentioned above, psoriasis, skin eczema, acne and dermatitis.
In turn, due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, athletes use it to mitigate tiredness and promote muscle recovery; becoming increasingly popular in sports such as surfing, skiing, climbing and yoga.
Another fairly frequent use in women is its use to calm and reduce abdominal and lumbar pain during the period of menstruation.
Also, due to the great potential of CBD oil and being a safe and non-psychotropic substance, it has been incorporated in the treatment of diseases such as osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia.
First, hemp is planted with a previous selection of high CBD content and little or no THC. Seeds are sown and allowed to grow for 120 days.
When flowering is over, it is harvested. During the harvest it is cut near the root, eliminating the seeds and, normally, the leaves; leaving the stem to dry. Subsequently, the stems are soaked to soften the fiber, process called "retraction"; to later separate the fiber from the stem "decortication" and finish with the extraction of CBD.
Rigorous studies have not shown that CBD has adverse effects.
Yes, of course. It comes only from the plant in its natural origin.
At Pharma TGM we have our own laboratories, where we carry out the process of extracting and obtaining CBD oil in its entirety. We produce a quality, reliable and transparent CBD oil, so that the benefits can be fully exploited by the body.
The use of CBD in Spain and the production of products rich in it is legal as long as the product in question is destined for external use, such as for skin care or for the treatment of different types of skin diseases, among other uses.
The WHO (World Health Organization) points out that the CBD is neither addictive nor a health risk, so it is a substance allowed by the WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency), but despite this, in our country it is only allowed its use at a topical level.
As mentioned above, according to Spanish legislation, in Spain it is permitted to be used cutaneously or only topically, that is, to apply it on the skin. Depending on the benefits required, the CBD is applied to one concentration or another.
In turn, in other countries whose regulations are different, such as the United States, Canada or other European countries, they advise its use sublingually, thus taking advantage of the maximum benefits of CBD.
It is best to keep the boat in a dark and cool place, away from sunlight and heat, as both factors are involved in the decomposition of natural cannabinoids such as CBD.
It is recommended to consume it once opened in the next 12 months, since after this period of time opened the properties diminish.
The CBD produced by Pharma TGM is full extract, since it has been scientifically proven that the real benefits are found in this kind and not in the isolated CBD.
The full spectrum extract includes other compounds of the cannabinoid such as CBN and CBG, which provide CBD with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and analgesic properties.
